SCHOLARSHIPS

(For school scholarships and subsidies, please visit the Wells Fargo Performing Arts Series for Students program page.)

In 2005, Montalvo Arts Center established a youth scholarship fund to ensure equal access to our education programs. The purpose of this scholarship fund is to support young people who show a demonstrated interest in the visual, performing or literary arts and, due to their economic circumstances, are unable to pay program tuition or fees. We are very proud of this advancement and even more proud of the talented scholarship students who have participated in our camps and classes. This year, Montalvo will again provide a number of scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to attend our programs.

All scholarship recipients must provide their own transportation to and from Montalvo for all classes, performances and activities.

Directions for Applying:

  • Complete Scholarship Application, using additional paper as necessary. Include student’s Personal Statement and Parent’s Questionaire.
  • Only one child per application, please.
  • Financial need - To be considered for a Montalvo scholarship, students attending public school must be eligible for a free or reduced lunch program. Students attending private school must be eligible for financial assistance or a scholarship program. The scholarship committee may request additional information.
