Needless to say, our assembly "swept me off my feet." It was highly entertaining, but more importantly it was educational and engaging. They did a deft job of seamlessly connecting the music, dance, poetry and historical context into an amazing artistic display that allowed students to be both moved and educated. The high quality and professionalism displayed by the Montalvo Arts Center makes them the perfect partners for our school and any other that has the privilege to work with them.

The Performing Arts Series for Students provides teachers and school groups an opportunity to see a show at Montalvo! Choose between 11am or 1pm shows and book your class today.
Montalvo provides free admission and partial bus subsidies to schools with at least 40% of students receiving free and reduced lunches. Bus subsidies are limited and are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Subsidies are restricted to a maximum of three (3) reimbursements per school annually.
To apply, include a signed letter from your principal confirming your school's percentage of free and reduced lunches along with your Ticket Request Form. Copy of your school's most recent SARC stating the percentage of free and reduced lunches is also acceptable. Schools that qualify for this program and have already received an invoice may submit a principal's note in lieu of payment.
Reimbursement requests (including a copy of the associated transportation invoice) must be submitted to Montalvo Education Staff no later than 90 days after the performance. Schools receiving bus subsidies will also be required to complete a brief post-performance survey.
