Philip Glass tickets selling fast!
The very thought of a world-famous composer playing a piano recital of his own music is mind-boggling...[Glass' recital] emits the gentle charm of the man himself, the combination of modesty and self-confidence that conquers and disarms an audience. --Charleston Post & Courier
The concert is on April 7, but already there are fewer than 80 tickets remaining for a special solo performance by the legendary Philip Glass in the 300-seat Carriage House Theatre.
Through his operas, his symphonies, his compositions for his own ensemble, and his wide-ranging collaborations with artists ranging from Twyla Tharp to Allen Ginsberg, Woody Allen to David Bowie, Glass has had an extraordinary impact on the modern cultural scene. This solo recital, part of our Piano Masters Series, is a rare chance to see a master perform in an intimate setting.
