Get ready for Camps!

Winter Camps: February 20-24

Summer Camp pre-sale for Members

runs February 10-21

There's still space left in our Winter Arts Camps, which run from February 20-24 - during "ski break" for most Santa Clara County schools!

We are offering two camps, staggered so that you can enroll your child in both! The Residency Design Camp will introduce young minds to different disciplines of design. The Circus Arts Camp will teach tumbling, juggling, clowning, and more in a fun, safe environment!

We will also be announcing our lineup of Summer Camps very soon, and Montalvo Members will be first in line with a chance to register! Pre-Sale for our Summer Camps begins on February 10 for the highest levels of Membership; the general public won't be able to sign up until February 22. If you live in Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, or Almaden, watch your local paper for a full Summer Camp schedule in the first week of February.

Willie K: "Molokai Woman"

Take a Hawaiian vacation

at Montalvo this winter!

Looking for an easy way to get away to Hawaii during the coming chilly Bay Area months? Why not try out some Hawaiian music in the intimate Carriage House Theatre with performances by Willie K and George Kahumoku Jr?

Dubbed the "Hawaiian Jimi Hendrix," Willie K will perform on Friday, February 10, at 8pm. This Grammy-nominated guitarist has appeared with such diverse musicians as B.B. King, Willie Nelson, Elvin Bishop, and Bonnie Raitt.

On Sunday, March 11, at 7:30pm, don't miss George Kahumoku Jr and the Masters of Hawaiian Music, with Dennis Kamakahi, Uncle Richard Ho'opi'l, and Bobby Ingano. With this amazing lineup, "every performance is the essence of aloha." (popmatters.com)

Yuletide events a big success!

The Montalvo Service Group's annual Yuletide events have been another huge success this year! Over the weekend of November 18-20, the Yuletide Marketplace brought scores of visitors to the historic Villa to see the variety of handcrafted holiday gift items available for purchase; and the Yuletide Holiday Party was a delightful gathering filled with holiday cheer, music, food, and fun!

This weekend, on December 2, 3, and 4, Yuletide continues with three Champagne High Teas! These sold-out events feature delicious teas, finger sandwiches, scones, and more - along with more of your favorite vendors offering holiday gifts for purchase!

If you missed any of this year's Yuletide events, be sure to watch our calendar next year so that you can make your reservations early!

Richard Thompson named one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time"

Legendary guitarist Richard Thompson was featured in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

Thompson, a regular performer at Montalvo, has three sold-out concerts in our intimate Carriage House Theatre this weekend.
