Join Montalvo Arts Center’s Youth Action Coalition: Building Healthy Communities through Art & Civic Action

As a member of the Coalition you will:

• Meet with local leaders as part of an investigative journey into the future of San José.
• Further develop your skills in digital photography, web design, videography & civic journalism.
• Collaborate with world-class artists, civic leaders and other teens to engage in an arts & media-based exploration of healthy communities.

Who should apply? 

Motivated high school students who are creative thinkers, feel passionate about the arts and contemporary social issues, and enjoy working with peers from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The Coalition meets in downtown San José each Tuesday beginning April 14, from 4:00-7:00 pm, plus one to two weekend days per month. Regular attendance is required through June.
