Note: This class is part of a camp. Dates are: Feb. 16, 17, 18, 19.
In this camp, students will make their own stop-motion animation and learn the multi-stepped process of "claymation" animation through hands-on creation of an animated short film, from start to finish. Each student will learn to storyboard, sculpt and build wire armatures and transform clay into "living" objects. Participants will rotate through the roles of photographer, animator, director and narrator, and will take home a DVD of their finished short film.
Camp culminates on Friday with a mini-film festival for family and friends to enjoy.
