Join us for the Bay Area's first South Asian Literature & Art Festival, presented by Art Forum SF in collaboration with the UC Berkeley Institute of South Asian Studies.
Celebrating contemporary reflections of literature and arts from South Asia, the event will feature books and readings, hands-on art activities, writing programs, art exhibitors, folk artists, Bollywood pop-up dancers, bhangra rhythms, and dance interludes — all interspersed with delicious food stations representing the flavors of the entire subcontinent.
In addition, you’ll have a chance to see 15 local, national, and international authors and artists, who will present keynotes and on-stage sessions throughout the day. And be sure to stop by the Project Space for an exhibition of contemporary Indian art curated by Sunderlande.
This all-ages festival is perfect for the whole family. Come and spend the day with us!
