Thanks to everyone who made Food & Wine a success!

On June 6, 2010, Montalvo's annual Food & Wine Classic VII: The Art of Dining celebrated some of the most prestigious restaurants and wineries in the region.

The chefs dazzled us with their creations and explosions of flavor, a real feast for the eyes and palate.

The wineries showcased a variety of wines from Napa Valley all the way down to Santa Maria.

All this was orchestrated by a dedicated committee whose individual contributions helped to make the event all the more special. A TASTE OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD

A new feature at Montalvo’s Food & Wine Classic VII

Much has changed in the neighborhood since Senator Phelan built his Villa Montalvo in 1912. Beautiful orchards have been replaced by vineyards which dot the residential landscape from Gilroy to Half Moon Bay. If you’ve ever wondered about the stories behind those beautiful vines, we are excited to introduce four local families who will be here to pour their wine and tell their stories. It’s a real treat to sample their wines, which can only be tasted here at the Montalvo Food & Wine Classic.
