At 5:30pm, join Andrea Blum for her Pop-Up Cafe, which will feature light fare and drinks available for purchase. The cafe is free and open to the public (Later in the evening, she will serve a prix-fix dinner, which requires tickets - purchase here.)
At 6pm, Blum will discuss her year-long residency, with performances by pianist Motoko Honda and Nina Heft (performing to works by Claudia Borgna). Haft has performed nationally and internationally, and is a well established choreographer who for the past ten years has been contributing to the Bay Area dance community with innovative work. The performing dancers in the company are: Edmer Lazaro, Frances Sedayao, Josie Alvite, and Dannia Ciolo.
A brilliant chef with a wide range of influences, Blum has learned her craft through her travels around the globe; she has also been a food writer for Gourmet and Saveiur magazines.
