  Note: This class is part of a camp. Dates are: Feb. 16\, 17\, 18\, 19.In 
 this camp\, students will make their own stop-motion animation and student
 s to the multi-stepped process of "claymation" animation through hands-on 
 creation of an animated short film\, from start to finish. Each student wi
 ll learn to storyboard\, sculpt and build wire armatures and transform cla
 y into "living" objects. Participants will rotate through the roles of pho
 tographer\, animator\, director and narrator\, and will take home a DVD of
  their finished short film. Camp culminates on Friday with a mini-film fes
 tival for family and friends to enjoy. About the instructor:Corinne Okada 
 Takara is a Bay Area artist and arts educator. Her mixed media work has sh
 own locally and internationally. Most recently she participated in an Arts
  in Embassies exhibit in Brussels and was honored with an artist residency
  at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. For ages: 5-8
