Shanghai native Lily Cai brings the movements of China alive in a captivating, truly unique dance presentation that shares her enthusiasm for Chinese culture, history and people. Utilizing the traditional costumes of the Tang and Qing Dynasties, colorful folk dance ribbons and fans of red, green and gold, Cai invites students and teachers to experience the elegance and mystery of one of the world’s most intriguing cultures. The program includes narrated performances and covers regional and cultural differences and choreographic structures of several Chinese dances.
