Nestled in the foothills of Silicon Valley, Montalvo Arts Center is 175 acres of pure inspiration. We are a multidisciplinary arts center and nonprofit organization serving the South Bay and beyond with a diverse range of arts, education, and community programs. We are also a public park, open daily from 8am–sunset for visits to our gardens, hiking trails, and outdoor artworks. I hope you’ll come and experience this beautiful place with your family and friends as you hike, explore the gardens, and see our collection of Art on the Grounds.

Spring is a beautiful time of year at Montalvo, as the weather warms up and the flowers begin to bloom in our beautiful gardens and along the trails. Be sure to make some time to visit and take a walk around our grounds! 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of our Lucas Artists Residency Program, and we have a series of programs, events, and celebrations that will commemorate this milestone. Meanwhile, our Carriage House Performing Arts Series continues through May, with our new season soon to go on sale. Our Summer Camps are approaching, so all of you parents have plenty of fun choices for your kids to activate their creative sides this year. Plus, a new series of Play on the Grounds performances is coming up, with three productions on the calendar for the summer. And be ready to experience some exciting new art works making their debut, with an opening festival on July 19.

While you’re on this site, you can learn about our mission and vision, see all of our upcoming events, and dive into our inspiring Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program. You can join our fantastic community of Montalvo supporters by becoming a donor

There’s something for everyone at Montalvo…stART here!
