A Perfect Day
A Perfect Day, Remy Charlip’s most recent book, inspires a host of related programming as part of AGENCY. Local libraries will host family readings and performances based on previous books he wrote and/or illustrated. On April 4, 2009, families are invited to Montalvo Arts Center for events that mirror the pictures in A Perfect Day like walking about, watching clouds and imagining, picnicking, singing and dancing, cuddling, napping, finger painting, reading picture books, and eating. AXIS Dance Company joins in the merriment and presents a selection of Charlip choreographies, among them "The Stuffed Armchair Dance" made especially for members of AXIS.
