Park closed December 25 and January 1.
NOTE: Dogs are allowed on the upper trails with a leash. The historic Villa is not open to the public except during paid tours, rentals, and other events.

Driving Directions
From San Francisco:
Hwy 280 South. Exit Hwy 85 South. Drive 4.1 miles and exit at Saratoga Avenue. Turn right onto Saratoga Avenue Drive 1.8 miles to downtown Saratoga. Turn left at light onto Hwy 9 / Saratoga - Los Gatos Road. Drive 1/3 mile and turn right onto Montalvo Road. Continue approximately 1 mile to Montalvo grounds.
From Oakland:
Hwy 880 South to Hwy 17 South. Take the Los Gatos, Saratoga, Hwy 9 Exit. Drive 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Montalvo Road. Continue approximately 1 mile to Montalvo grounds.
From San Jose:
Hwy 280 North to Hwy 17 South. Take the second Los Gatos Exit (Los Gatos, Saratoga, Hwy 9). Continue 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Montalvo Road. Continue 1 mile to Montalvo grounds.
From Santa Cruz:
Hwy 17 North. Take the Los Gatos, Saratoga, Hwy 9 Exit. Drive back over the freeway and continue 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Montalvo Road. Continue approximately 1 mile to Montalvo grounds.
Please note that some web-based mapping services (Mapquest, Yahoo Maps, etc.) may direct you to turn onto Mendelson from Hwy 9. Do not use these directions, it will lead you to our Exit Gate which is one-way only. The Main Gate is accessible from Montalvo Road only.
Parking:
As you enter the Main Gate you will first arrive at Parking Lot 1 where the Artists Residency is located off to your right. If you are coming to the Villa, Garden Theatre, Carriage House, the Box Office, or to visit the hiking trails behind the Villa, continue through Lot 1 up the road past the Front Lawn. You will see parking lot 2 on the right side of the Villa and lots 3 and 4 on the left side of the Villa. Please drive slowly through the estate, as we have many visitors walking the grounds including children, the elderly, and deer.
West Valley College, Lot 5
Shuttle site for all Garden Theatre performances and Front Lawn concerts.
Note: parking is free if you are taking the shuttle.

From Highway 17:
Exit at Highway 9 toward Los Gatos/Saratoga. Proceed 3 miles, turning right
onto Fruitvale Ave. Turn right on Athletic Way and
enter Parking Lot #3.
From Highway 280:
Exit south on Highway 85. Exit Saratoga Avenue, making a right turn towards
Downtown Saratoga. Continue .3 miles, turning left onto Fruitvale Ave. Continue south on Fruitvale Ave. Turn left on Athletic Way and enter Parking Lot #5.
